Airport Transfer
Compare transfer quotes beyond the headline price
Put the route, capacity and service conditions beside each quoted total.
Make the offers comparable
Place the written offers side by side and check that they describe the same journey. Use the same pickup, destination, local date, passenger count and baggage list. If one quote includes a return leg and another covers only one direction, separate the legs before comparing. Identify whether a stated vehicle is a category or a specific promised arrangement, and ask about differences that could affect your party.
Keep each quote’s date, currency and validity visible. Do not copy a price from an old message without retaining its conditions. If an offer is provisional or subject to availability, preserve that wording in your comparison. A cheaper indicative amount is not directly equivalent to a confirmed total for the complete request. Mark missing information as unknown so it remains a question rather than silently becoming an assumed inclusion.
Read the conditions that affect the journey
Ask what the total covers: vehicle service, waiting, parking, tolls and any requested extras. Do not presume every provider charges for or includes the same items. If extra waiting can be charged, ask when the clock starts, what period is included and how further time is calculated. For an airport arrival, clarify whether the arrangement follows the actual flight arrival or a fixed meeting time.
Review changes and cancellations using the written terms attached to that quote. Find out how to request a change, when a response is required and whether a revised price may apply. If child seats, equipment or assistance are essential, locate their explicit confirmation in the offer. A free-text request you entered is evidence of what you asked for, not proof that the operator has agreed to provide it.
Choose using the whole arrangement
Compare the total price together with the conditions that matter to you. A useful comparison might show confirmed baggage capacity, a clear meeting point and an accessible day-of-travel contact, without trying to convert every difference into a monetary score. If you divide the quoted total among passengers, label the result as a personal cost split. It is not a separate fare offered by the provider unless the provider says so.
Before committing, ask for any unresolved answer in writing and verify the steps required to confirm the booking. Save the accepted quote, confirmation and any later amendments together. If an essential requirement remains uncertain, treat the decision as incomplete. A careful comparison does not guarantee the journey will be disruption-free, but it gives you a clear record of the service, price and conditions that were actually agreed.
